Annual Fund 2025
Friends of SPMS~
As we look back on this past year, we do so with immense gratitude. Our school community has shown extraordinary resilience, generosity, and determination—qualities that have carried us from the difficult days following Hurricane Helene to a place of strength and growth.
Thanks to families, friends, and supporters like you, our campus has made a full recovery. Playground spaces are restored, classrooms are revitalized, and the daily joy of our students once again fills the campus. While emergency aid helped us recover, these resources covered only a portion of the true cost of getting our school back on its feet. Your support has been—and continues to be—essential.
As we move forward, we are also investing deeply in the future of our students. This year, we will need to send 3 teachers to do their Montessori training. Preparing them for success requires meaningful investment: high-quality training, mentorship, and professional development that ensures our students receive the education they deserve. These initiatives strengthen our program, but they also significantly increase our operating costs.
We are also thrilled to share that our Toddler Program has grown to its full capacity. Families are seeking safe, nurturing, early learning environments, and our program is meeting that need with warmth and excellence. With this growth, however, come new expenses—additional classroom materials, furniture, and expanded staffing to support our youngest learners.
As we close the year, we ask you to consider making a gift to our Annual Fund. Your contribution directly supports the everyday operations that make our school exceptional: dedicated teachers, inviting classrooms, enriching programs, and the resources that allow each child to thrive.
Every gift—no matter the size—strengthens our community and ensures our students continue to learn, grow, and reach their full potential.
Thank you for believing in our mission, for standing with us through recovery, and for helping us build a bright and resilient future for every child we serve.
With appreciation,
Jennifer Rambo, Head of School
