Referral Incentive Program

We know that the single most effective way of attracting more students to SPMS is through referral by satisfied families and supportive community members. The Referral Incentive Program rewards community efforts to bring more families to Spruce Pine Montessori School.

The purposes of the Referral Incentive Program are:

  1. To increase enrollment by rewarding those in our community who help identify other families who may be a good fit at SPMS.

  2. To reach out to SPMS supporters and strengthen relationships.

  3. To raise our profile in the greater Spruce Pine area.

Requirements:

For each student (one per family) referred to SPMS, the person referring will receive an incentive payment once that student has enrolled, attended school, and paid for two months of tuition. In order to be eligible for this incentive payment, all of the following must occur:

  • The student must be enrolling for the upcoming school year.

  • The referring person’s name must be listed on the student’s Application for Admission in answer to the question “How did you learn about Spruce Pine Montessori School?”

  • The student must be new to SPMS, enrolled, attend school, and pay for two months of tuition before the incentive payment is issued.

Incentive Payments:

A one-time incentive payment will be awarded to the referring person* as follows:

  • To current parents: $150 tuition discount per family referred

  • To SPMS employees: $150 bonus per family referred

  • To all other community members: $150 check per family referred

 

* If more than one person is named on the student’s Application for Admission, the incentive payment will be divided equally among each named referring person.

Incentive award is limited to the referral of brand new families and does not apply to those returning or additional children enrolling after the family’s initial year of attendance.
