Parents are an essential component in the Montessori approach to education, which we see as a partnership involving the children, the parents, and the teaching staff.  This partnership creates an investment in each child’s future.

Our parents have literally built the school, from its initial conception to the construction of its walls, materials, furniture and outdoor spaces, all on a volunteer basis.  Parents donate time as classroom aides, field trip drivers, at special workdays and fundraising events, on committees, and much more.  A community working together provides a positive role model for our children that will be remembered for years to come.
