Spruce Pine Montessori School is part of a
community. The region we serve is beautiful and rural, and our
families are primarily of modest incomes. We meet our goal of
quality, affordable education by keeping our tuition as low as
possible. As a result, tuition income covers only about 70% of
our operating costs. We must depend on grants, gifts, and our
own fund raising activities for the remaining 30%. Though higher
tuition could cover a greater share of our costs, we recognize that
our community is different from many others. Spruce Pine
Montessori School encourages the generosity of volunteers, parents,
grandparents, friends, alumni
and businesses to make our school successful.
All of the
donations we receive in labor, time, skills, wisdom, materials, and
dollars come from people who care deeply about our community and
who understand the value of exceptional early education. It is our
privilege to serve our wonderful community and we invite you to be a
part of it.
Please call the school for more information on any
of our scheduled fundraising events. If you have suggestions to
add to our "Feel Good, Do Good" page, please email the school office
and we'd love to spread the word! |
